A Mother’s Day to Remember: Because Nurture Has Many Faces 💛
Some memories age like wine… the kind that gets better with every sip!
It’s been a few weeks since we visited Dream Children’s Home in Ngong for a special Mother’s Day CSR, but the joy? Still fresh. The laughter? Still ringing in our hearts. The impact? As sweet as ever.
We had no strict programme, just the mission to show up with love—and some of our most delicious cakes, of course! The team I went with brought the sunshine. And the kids? They brought the magic.
From a whole day of bouncing castle fun to dancing, games, and belly laughs, we let go of routine and embraced the moment. Even our CEO, Mohamed Zahir Nazir, joined the fun and made memories with the kids—ones you can’t manufacture or forget.
We always say: a good team can turn one guitar into a whole concert. And on this day, that couldn’t have been more true. We may have gone to give, but we left with so much more.

Cake City Kenya is built on more than just flour and frosting—we’re built on connection, kindness, and shared joy.
So yes, this post is fashionably late—but the smiles from that day are forever right on time.
We truly celebrate all the nurturers out there! You do a splendid job keeping those kids fed, loved and happy. Kudos!
Which other CSR activity would you suggest we carry out?
