A Mother’s Day to Remember: Because Nurture Has Many Faces ๐Ÿ’›

Some memories age like wine… the kind that gets better with every sip!

Itโ€™s been a few weeks since we visited Dream Childrenโ€™s Home in Ngong for a special Motherโ€™s Day CSR, but the joy? Still fresh. The laughter? Still ringing in our hearts. The impact? As sweet as ever.

We had no strict programme, just the mission to show up with loveโ€”and some of our most delicious cakes, of course! The team I went with brought the sunshine. And the kids? They brought the magic.

From a whole day of bouncing castle fun to dancing, games, and belly laughs, we let go of routine and embraced the moment. Even our CEO, Mohamed Zahir Nazir, joined the fun and made memories with the kidsโ€”ones you canโ€™t manufacture or forget.

We always say: a good team can turn one guitar into a whole concert. And on this day, that couldnโ€™t have been more true. We may have gone to give, but we left with so much more.

Cake City Kenya is built on more than just flour and frostingโ€”weโ€™re built on connection, kindness, and shared joy.

So yes, this post is fashionably lateโ€”but the smiles from that day are forever right on time.

We truly celebrate all the nurturers out there! You do a splendid job keeping those kids fed, loved and happy. Kudos!

Which other CSR activity would you suggest we carry out?
