A Showstopping Nganya Entrance with MOOD

To kick off the celebrations, we went big—literally. Inspired by Nairobi’s matatu (Nganya) culture, we partnered with the iconic bus MOOD to announce our arrival in Ruiru. Our branded Cake City team rode in with whistles, vuvuzelas, and banners proudly declaring: “We just launched in Ruiru!”

The official opening was marked by a proud ribbon-cutting moment. Our CEO, Mr. Mohammed Zahir, together with Mr. Nimeet, CEO of Nord Mall, officially declared Cake City Ruiru open. It was a symbolic milestone, celebrating growth and partnership with the Ruiru community.

Free Cake Sampling & Sweet Offers

No Cake City launch is complete without cake! Guests were treated to free cake sampling all day, giving them a taste of our moist, yummy, and spectacular cakes. On top of that, we offered an exclusive 20% discount all weekend, making celebrations even sweeter for our first Ruiru customers.
