THE GRAND REBIRTH; The Cake City Flagship store story!

Childbirth has always been a source of joy to the parents and the community at large. I mean, this is the beginning of a life that has the potential to change lives and transform the nation. After the first cry of the child, all the pain of labor is forgotten and everyone focuses on how beautifully those tiny lips curl, how gentle the grasp of the little delicate fingers feels. That was the joy when our flagship branch was launched in Westlands. It was a beauty to reckon with. From the unique structural features of a cake with chocolate dripping to the fact that it was the first of its kind (A cake company that offered a variety of flavors as opposed to the cliché black forest cake, white forest cake, or red velvet cake flavors that were served everywhere).
Recently, this baby that had been born full of life and a promising future blossomed into a beautiful young woman whose rebirth into a new era brought about her relocation to Gallant Mall, along Parklands Road. She was ushered in with a glamorous, vibrant celebration on 20th June 2024. The highlight of the moment was that every corner of the new flagship shop is Instagramable, not to mention the variety of cake flavors on display and the tantalizing beverage options that the qualified barristers offer. Looking at it that day, and even now months later, all I see is the best place to hang out in Westlands for alone dates, romantic coffee dates, or just a merry hangout with your friends!
Cake City has always claimed a market share in Wedding cakes that inevitably mark the climax of weddings in Nairobi and beyond, the absolute reason the new flagship branch in Gallant Mall was fitted with a spectacular room dedicated to wedding cake clients. It is adorned with comfort, and furnished with an abundance of wedding cake designs and a curated selection of cake stands that will leave every couple mesmerized!
The birth of this flagship branch back in 2012 brought with it not only decadent signature cake flavors like Butter Scotch Cake and American Fruit Cake but also a great surge of employment opportunities at the 11 other branches that it gave birth to including Karen, Athi River, Embakasi, Kiambu Road, Eastleigh ( BBS Mall) CBD, Kilimani, TRM, Langata, Westlands, Gigiri, and a very active call center.
Clearly, a rebirth was an inevitable necessity at this point because a tree that bears fruits must renew its roots, lest it withers from the weight of its blessings!
I will not rain further praises, lest you will not be curious to visit the place!! Here are some of the special moments during the birth and rebirth of our Flagship Westlands branch!
